Happy Winter! Yes, we are getting ready to begin another Tuesday night study. You won’t want to miss this one! It’s called “I’m Not Good Enough….and Other Lies Women Tell Themselves” by Sharon Jaynes .
Ok, true confessions? I admit, the title didn’t grab me at first…there are millions of other women’s books already out there alluding to the same thing. But when Vicki and I began reading the excerpts from it we were completely drawn in. This one stood out. The writing style is so current, real, and relatable that one can’t help but want to know more. And God’s truth is there, right along-side each situation…shining His encouraging light into every dark corner!
I don’t know about you, but this sounds like the perfect way to spend the rest of my winter. And they can seem pretty long here. With their cabin fever and gray days….sometimes it's the perfect ground for those lies to begin creeping in.
The study begins Tuesday, February 9th, 6:30 pm, here at the church. Everyone desiring to attend will need a book. There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the worship center or you can let us know via e-mail. Books are $10 each and you’ll be able to order them through us if you sign up by January 25th. After that date, you can order them on your own at Amazon.com or through Good News Book Store here in Willmar. Everyone is invited, please help us by spreading the word in case we have overlooked someone or they don't have internet access.
